Fine mulch is the smaller of the two mulches. It will breakdown over two or three years and can then be dug into to garden. It opens up your soil and is therefore a great soil improver. Fine mulch has a warm feel, and smells nice , it can also be used for calf or animal bedding. For best results, spread 100mm (4 inches) thick and as a rule you need 1 cubic metre for every 10 metres squared. | |
